Milking Point Controller

Milking Point Controller

The  milk yield indicator controls the milking process for each Cow, Sheep or Goat, either automatically or through manual operation. It consists of a) a waterproof transparent plastic housing which contains the electronic board and b) an easy-to-use keyboard – membrane.

Main Features

  • Easy to use.
  • Measures milk yield, conductivity and temperature without interfering with the flow.
  • Measures milking time and milk flow accurately for both high and low flow rates.
  • Suitable for cows, buffalo, sheep and goats.
  • Suitable for any milking parlour.
  • Can control parlour gates (optional).
  • Collect data about the cleaning process.

Milking Features

  • Milk yield measurement accuracy within ±5%.
  • Milk temperature measurement accuracy within ±0.1% between 35°C and 41°C.
  • Milk high-temperature alarm.
  • Milk conductivity indication and registration.
  • Milk flow rate and total yield indication.
  • Ability to measure small milk quantities for buffalo, sheep and goats.
  • Low vacuum drop (0.58 kPa) and unrestricted milk flow due to free-flow milk sensor design.
  • No additional air inlet and milk foam generation.

Pulsation Features

  • Adjustable pulsation speed and ratio
  • Optional automatic or manually activated stimulation.
  • Optional milk flow-controlled pulsation.
  • 8 Flow Control Pulsation (FCP) curves.
  • Pulsation outputs: internal 24 V DC or external 12–24 V DC.

Cleaning Features

  • Minimum use of detergent and water during the cleaning cycle due to low volume free-flow milk sensor design.
  • Cleaning parameter deviations are monitored with well-defined alarm codes.
  • Available centralized parlour commands for enabling cleaning mode (start/stop) for all units from any controller

Operation Features

  • Clearly defined keys for start/stop milking.
  • Clear display of attention codes.
  • Optional remote start button.
  • Three outputs are available (A, O, T); individually and freely assignable for cluster takeoff, vacuum valve, striping arm, etc. Outputs are individually hardware configurable for 24V DC
  • Accurate automatic cluster takeoff.
  • Adjustable time delay between vacuum shut-off and cluster takeoff.
  • Cluster kickoff indication.
  • Enables operation of parlour gates and separation gates.
  • Enables full automatic operation of tandem parlour gates.
  • Individual post swing over control.
  • Post and parlour control through extended keyboard layout.

Infrared Milk Flow Sensor

Each milk flow sensor measures milk flow using near-infrared technology and co-operates effectively with each milking point controller. The sensor is completely sealed and has no moving parts, thus milk flows freely without restrictions.

Main Features

  • Measures even small quantities of milk accurately  using near-infrared technology
  • Tube-shaped diameter free flow
  • Does not restrict the milk flow
  • Easy to clean
  • Saves water and detergent
  • Simple left or right installation using a single mounting kit
  • No consumables required
